2017/04/05SAREF4ENER: the SAREF extension for Energy@Home published as ETSI Technical Specifications

ETSI (the European Telecommunications Standards Institute), in collaboration with OneM2M, has published a new  standard ETSI TS 103 410-1 V1.1.1 (2017-01) that is based on the SAREF (Smart Appliances REFerence ontology) interoperability language. It has also standardized the first 3 extensions of SAREF dedicated to different domains. SAREF4ENER is an OWL-DL ontology that extends SAREF with new classes and properties, focused on demand response scenarios, in which customers can offer flexibility to the Smart Grid to manage their smart home devices by means of a Customer Energy Manager (CEM).

SAREF4ENER was created in collaboration with Energy@Home and EEBus.
