​This reduction aims at extending the number of Associates and at motivating more companies to be eligible for a Board seat. According to the Association bylaws, in fact, the Board of Directors is made up of representatives of the founder Associates plus up to 3  members elected only between the Ordinary Associates. 

The Board of Directors sets the direction and the strategy of the Assocation as it is invested with all powers for the ordinary and extraordinary administration; it approves, prior to their distribution, the official communications proposed by Members of the Board itself or by the Working Groups; it evaluates the proposals in order of the activity to be carried out, decides the development plans and takes decisions on ordinary and extraordinary projects
