Valentina  Alagna

​Degree in Business Administration, she joined Enel in 1998, after some years in Planning and Control and in the  M&A Department, since 2005 she is working in Regulatory Affairs Department in Enel Distribuzione S.p.A. as expert in Metering regulation, Smart Grids, Electric vehicles. 

Since 2009, Member of International Task Forces, of the European Community  on regulatory topics related to Smart Grids (Smart Grids DG Energy Task Force on data privacy, Smart grid task force Minimum security requirements for smart grids ).

She coordinates the regulatory side of the innovative projects financed by the Italian Regulatory Authority.

Marco Signa ​is Director of the Energy@home Association since February 2016.

​Professional Background. Marco Signa started his career in Whirlpool as a R&D engineer in Refrigeration, working both in USA and Europe and on many global projects. He became then the R&D manager in Europe for the Refrigeration Business Unit. After over 10 years in Technology, Marco moved to marketing as Innovation Product manager where he supported the ideation, conceptualization and development of many innovative features and products cross category. This was the base for his next assignment, where as Marketing Manager Innovation & New Businesses he was in charge of all the new and not traditional products in Whirlpool Europe. 

Since 2010 Marco has been working in some key projects in the area of Energy and Sustainability, including 'Green Kitchen' and Smart Appliances. Recently he has been appointed as Business Leader for this new product category in the EMEA region. Marco is also the chairman of the CECED Smart Grid Task Force working on Smart appliances standards and interoperability. 

Educational Background. Marco Signa holds a Master degree in Aerospace Engineering at Politecnico di Milano and an MBA at Bocconi School of Business​
